The Pre-College Global Education Program at Caldwell College is designed to provide an opportunity for experiential learning for international high school students who wish to explore American culture and education, and develop friendships in a supportive environment.

College-level course. Students will take one college-level course offered by Caldwell College, consisting of 37.5 hours of instruction over a period of three weeks. Students will better understand what is required of them to be successful at the next level.

Academic and Language Support. Students will receive academic support as needed from Caldwell College’s Center for Student Success and ESL support as needed from International Ivy.

Elective Credit for the Future. Upon successful completion of one college-level course (grade B or above) in the Pre-College Global Education Program, participants may receive elective credit upon graduation from secondary school and enrollment at Caldwell College.

Recreational and Cultural Exploration. Students will participate in numerous recreational activities to explore American culture and expand their command of the English language in an informal and authentic setting. Recreation activities include scavenger hunts, bowling, movies, music concerts and games.

Weekend Fun and Friendships. Students will take day trips to visit other colleges and universities, wander in museums and popular tourist sites and play in amusement parks. During this intense immersion experience, bonds of friendships will surely form among participants.
